Been a fan of his sin...Amazing James Lee interview! Been a fan of his since the early '90s. Fortunately I got to meet him about '96 or so when he did a signing at a bookstore I worked at. We became fast pals, chatting for a long while after the crowd dispersed and he signed all the books left over. Terrific guy. Some of those Robicheaux novels are heart-breaking in their poetry. The recent one about Katrina was beautiful, but <i>In the Electric Mist with Confederate Dead</i> I think is my favorite of all.
